NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Mill Hall Borough, Clinton County, Pennsylvania shall consider at a meeting of the Board to be held on the 25th day of November 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Mill Hall Borough Building, 215 Beech Creek Avenue, Mill Hall, Clinton County, Pennsylvania, 17751 adoption of an Ordinance Amending Chapter 1 Part 6 related to Fireman’s Relief Association and Chapter 1 Part 7 of related to Recognition of Fire Company of the Code of Ordinances Mill Hall wherein the is a summary:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF MILL HALL, CLINTON COUNTY. PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 1 PART 6 RELATED TO FIREMAN’S RELIEF ASSOCIATION AND PART 7 RELATED TO RECOGNITION OF FIRE COMPANY OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF MILL HALL BOROUGH.
SECTION 1 amends Chapter 1 Part 6 and provides for the appointment of the fire protection and/or Emergency Services Provider in the Borough by Resolution from time to time.
SECTION 2 amends Chapter 1 Part 7, subsection 1-701 and provides for the appointment of Recognized Fire Company by Resolution of the Borough from time to time.
SECTION 3 amends Chapter 1 Part 7, subsection 1-704 to provide that all references to “Fire Company” be amended to refer to the “Emergency Service Provider”.
SECTION 4 amends Chapter 1 Part 7, subsection 1-708 to replace all references to the “Volunteer Fire Company of Mill Hall Inc.” and “Fire Company” with the words “Recognized Emergency Service Provider”.
SECTION 5 provides for a savings clause.
SECTION 6 provides for repealer
SECTION 7 provides for severability
SECTION 8 provides for the effective date.
