Ordinance Change-Outdoor Burning

NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Mill Hall Borough, Clinton County, Pennsylvania shall consider at a meeting of the Board to be held on the 25th day of November 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Mill Hall Borough Building, 215 Beech Creek Avenue, Mill Hall, Clinton County, Pennsylvania, 17751 adoption of an Ordinance Amending Chapter 7 Part 1 related Outdoor Burning wherein the is a summary:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF MILL HALL, CLINTON COUNTY. PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 7 PART 1 OF THE MILL HALL BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATED TO OUTDOOR BURNING.

SECTION 1 amends Chapter 7, Part 1, subsection 7-101with respect to the definition of “Training Fire”.  

SECTION 2 amends Chapter 7 Part 1, subsection 7-104 with respect to “Bonfire” to delete the words “and the Borough of Mill Hall Volunteer Fire Company”.

SECTION 3 amends Chapter 7 Part 1, subsection 7-106 with respect to “Training Fire” to delete the words “and the Borough of Mill Hall Volunteer Fire Company.”

SECTION 4 amends Chapter 7 Part 1, subsection 7-107 with respect to “Controlled Burns” to provide that Controlled Burns are not permitted.

SECTION 5 provides for a savings clause.

SECTION 6 provides for repealer

SECTION 7 provides for severability

SECTION 8 provides for the effective date.
